love is Good

sometimes
you fail
and in that failing
realize how
much
you want Something
amazing
and seemingly
unattainable

but you want it anyway

this was me
a month
ago
with a vision
I'd failed at
with two womanfriends:

to have a committed relationship
where the primary commitment
was to being present
within the relationship

and even better
a shared vision
of working together as a
team
to bring waking up
and awareness to
anyone for whom that seemed
a place they wished to live

and then
Morgan
comes
along

tall
beautiful
smart
been through hell
like raw foods
owns no car, loves to ride a bike
loves to work
the land

all that nice
(amazing, really)



and beyond all these nice wonderful overlaps,
underneath
the gardening and biking
and loving children
and.....

we
are rooted
in our
commitment
to being present
as much as always
as we can
with each other
and when we are apart

talk
about a thrill!
