The love of my life appeared on my mother and son's birthday, March 24, in 2015.
On March 5, 2016 we were married.

- Long, long ago, as is now a respectable move, I graduated a fancy school, Stanford, and went off to be a "Community Organizer" in the black and Puerto Rican section of Brooklyn New York.
- Learned a lot more than I learned at the fancy school.
- Then taught school.
- Then tried to create a commune and learned building.
- Along the way learned organic gardening.
- Taught the Fischer-Hoffman Process and meditated a lot, and ended up in the Gurdjieff work and took on design/ building and landscaping as meditation in action ways of working.
- Learned to love working with mind body wood plant design create beautify the world tools and materials.
- Lived in Berkeley long enough to have two kids graduate high school.
- ' As part of the "Berkeley experience" came to see bicycle riding as my main way to transport within any town in which I was living.
- Then time to move, wanted to grow more of my own food, breathe more the country air.
- I moved to Sonoma, a town north of San Francisco, in 1996, to become one of these "organic farmers" whose produce I so loved to eat via the Berkeley farmer's market
- One summer of raising organic tomatoes at 50 cents an hour showed me that wasn't quite what I wanted.

Photo: Richard DaleThe Sonoma Ecology Center had some land that had been donated to the city and they were floundering, and I, fresh out of a Permaculture Training
- (maybe see Permaculture Activist Magazine, it's a way of thinking about the Earth, People, Rain, Water, and so on as one big happy family that could and should be working together)
- could not pass up a chance to make something wonderful happen.

It took five years, but in the end, I designed and created a three acre public Garden Park in Sonoma, which incorporates fruit trees, flowers, herbs, perennials, fun pathways, permaculture concepts, and amazing arbors.
Come visit it if you are ever in Sonoma. East Seventh Street at Denmark. Best days are Wednesday and Saturday mornings. And Friday evenings in the summer.
Among the amazing things that happened via this garden was a volunteer inviting me to a yoga class, an activity I'd thought was just for pretzel people.

enjoyed the idea of pursuing something that I
was bad at, and that led to meeting
a fine person,
and that led to us wandering into the Feldenkrais
world, and that has been an amazing adventure.
